Ikebana of Strelitzia (Bird of Paradise), Phoenix Leaves, and Red Vine

ストレリチアとフェニックスの葉と赤蔓を生け花に活けましたI arranged Strelitzia (Bird of Paradise), Phoenix Leaves, and Red Vine in Ikebana flower arrangement.

On a warm day in late November with a cloudless blue sky, I made a ikebana flower arrangement of Strelitzia, known as the bird of paradise, as well as phoenix leaves and red vines. By making several rings with red vines, the irregular lines formed a complex ring shape, creating a mysterious space. The phoenix leaves were placed inside the ring, and the Strelitzia was placed slightly to the left of the center. The majestic presence of the Strelitzia flower shines, and the radial lines created by the spreading phoenix leaves give the impression of mysterious power overflowing from the Strelitzia flower.

11月の下旬の雲一つない青空が広がる温かい日、極楽鳥と呼ばれるストレリチアとフェニックスの葉と赤蔓を生け花に活けました。赤蔓で輪を作ると、その不規則な線が複雑な輪の形となって、不思議な空間を造り出しました。フェニックスの葉は、その輪の中に配置して、ストレチアは中心やや左に据えました。ストレリチアの花の堂々とした存在感が光っており、フェニックスの葉が広がって出来ている放射状の線は、ストレリチアの花から溢れ出る神秘的なパワーのように感じられます。
